In the heart of Milan, at Via Montenapoleone 8, Saint Laurent reopens the doors of its flagship store: A newly redesigned retail space that invites its cherished guests into more than just an elegant and luxurious setting to discover the Maison’s latest collections, it offers a proper immersion into art itself. Spread across three luminous floors, the flagship becomes a living gallery where furniture and design objects transcend function, embodying Saint Laurent’s distinctive aesthetic of precision, restraint, and quiet seduction.
Among the unique furniture pieces showcased, one can discover creations by some of Italy’s most celebrated masters of architecture and design some of them being Gio Ponti, the Scarpa family, Osvaldo Borsani, Marco Zanuso, Aldo Tura, and Gaetano Pesce, and alongside a custom work by Vincenzo De Cotiis, conceived exclusively for the Maison’s Milanese space.
All of this unfolds under the aesthetic direction of Anthony Vaccarello, whose vision strikes the perfect balance between luxury, elegance, and discipline. His precise sensibility, both architectural and sensual, is reflected throughout the interior design of the space. In a subtle yet intimate gesture, the very leather used in one of Vaccarello’s recent collections reappears within a furniture piece crafted for the renovation, infusing the store with a trace of the designer’s personal language.
These furniture pieces converse effortlessly with the grand creations from the seasonal collections, surrounded by noble materials such as backlit onyx, ceppo di gré, the renowned Lombard stone, and candoglia marble, the very same used in Milan’s most iconic and breathtaking cathedral, Il Duomo.
